I really want to but I would have to remove the blade stop/thumb stud in order to do it right and I don't really want to mess it up. Maybe after I learn a bit more.

Thanks Josh! I've actually been like one click away from buying the Chill about 5 times but always bought something else. Good thing I never did buy it because I got one for free!
 
Just picked one of these up for the cheap from a certain online retailer. Had one before and liked it but sold it to fund something else.
 
Make it like 1/6" wider, s30v, FFG, Stonewashed, Colored G-10, and I'm on it lol.
Make it a Ti Frame Lock and it has a spot ready in my case lol.
 
Wow! That looks great. I've often wondered what several Kershaws would look like with a FFG. Cross one off the list...:D
 
Thanks guys (And gal;)) Whenever I get some extra funds coming in I'll have to get some other Kershaws and regrind 'em.

I will say, 8cr13mov is very easy to grind. I'm working on turning a DPx HEST 2.0 into a FFG and it's way harder to grind than the 8cr. Just something to think about if you're considering regrinding a knife.

You can have mine.....as long as you don't peel the coating off. :p
 
It's a terrific knife for its price.

I replaced my desk letter opener with one. With it's narrow blade and fairly pointed ... point, it works well for that task.

Much cooler having another Kershaw on my desk instead of the letter opener it replaced. The only other knife I have at that price point that I respect as much is the Kabar Dozier Folding Hunter.
