Adding serrations to a Severtech.... ;)

I need to add a small row of serrations to my Severtech. I cut a lot of ropes and straps at work. Most of the straps are dirty three and four ply nylon, which a smooth edge will not cut, no matter how sharp. Any suggestions? Should I send this off to a pro? If so, who? Here is a picture of the Severtech next to my usual work knife, a Gerber 06. I'd like the serrations from the handle to that first hole in the blade. Just enough to get a tear started.
