Any recommendations for a good adhesive that isn't 20 bucks per ounce? Also, i've made two knives already with a glue called Amazing GOOP. anybody ever heard of it? I've used it on two pieces of wood as a test, and when i tried to separate them the wood broke before the glue, which i took as a good sign. Any input or advice?

I've never heard of what you used but one of my favorites that isn't expensive is JB Weld. Just be sure to mix it correctly though.

Cool, thanks il check into that. Also, any recommendations for a protective/semi-attractive finish for wood handles? Something to give it a kind of depth by bringing out some color

Tru- oil works well on some woods but others I just sand up high and buff VERY lighlty. Really, for finishing wood it comes down to the type of wood.

Welcome to the forums! Glad to have you with us.

How does it work for a wood to metal bond? Metal to wood is different than wood to wood. There are many threads on adhesives here. Read up and enjoy learning from your fellow knife nuts!
