adhesive to put a cork in it?

Any recommendations or preference for an adhesive for cork?
I'm putting a cork gasket on a wood scabbard and want a durable bond with out brittleness.

I know when I have made bulletin boards with cork I always used contact adhesive. Not sure if that would work in your situation but I don't know why not.

Contact adhesive/rubber cement should work well.

Hey Mike,

Contact cement has worked great for me. That's what I used to glue a cork backing on my 9" aluminum wheel. Never had an issue yet and that is even with repeat applications and removal of sand paper to the exposed cork side. Used 3M 77 contact cement.
