Trying to keep the dust off my HI knives. Hope that helps make this part of a kinfe forum....

I live in a warehouse with a home built inside. I really like this concept, but I have a real problem with dust. I HAVE to change my heat pump filters at least once a month and a lot fo dust gets through them anyway.

Have been doing some research and would like to know if anyone has experience with these.

I use Honeywell Hepa filters in my home - I have one in the BR and scattered in other rooms. My concern is pollen and allergens.
Mine are much smaller models. I wanted quiet ones, and so that was my major choice factor.
I don't know about the large one you point to. I also use a high efficiency filter in the furnace - the sort that is designed to pick up smaller dust particles.

I can attest to the smaller Honeywell Hepa cleaners... but not that big of one. But the quality of the Honeywell stuff seems very good. My cleaner did a good job of dust, smoke particles, etc... I'm guessing that the larger ones that go directly in the heating ductwork would be a killer setup.

I'd say go for it! I'm not sure how else you could take care of it in such a large building like yours.

Good luck :)

I can't help on Honeywell. I have a AprilAire 5000 in my home. We have to dust very little since I put it in. I think they are very similiar. Here is another place to do some research;

Thanks to all and especially Michael for this link. I have posted there and hope for some good answers. Will let you all know what I find out.

I am looking at this one right now that I can get for about $385 in a 20x10.
