i have been looking at these little kits lately.... i kind of like em'.... i was really surprised how small they were, when i finally got a chance to take a good look at one, the other day at REI....:thumbup:

i actually like it better than the AMK pocket survival kit...the bag allows for more in depth personalization and expansion....

If you read Doug's site, Mike Brown did a review of this kit that well, is as honest as it gets. I've seen these kits and I won't buy one. Just not my thing.

I was at REI yesterday and was close to picking up the SOL kit. Next time I go back I'll grab one to play with.

It looks like a complete kit but many of us could put one just like it together in a very short time I think. All the same, it's only 20 bucks so why not?

you are missing out bro..I read the review but until you try it for yourself,you never know...to me and for my use it works great,I have the ritter kit as well and I prefer the SOL,just my opinion !!!!

the heet sheet it comes with is great,there is room to add a few things to it as well if you are going to leave it in the roll over case.

Always prefer to put my own kits together with the best items I can find. Seems that so many of those retail kits have marginal quality items. Better than nothing, I guess.
