Adventure Sworn Knives-Blade blank handled

Wonderful blade here. It is just beautiful.
Particularly love the handle scale face against the edge is inclined precisely.

Other works posted in the quoted threads are also great.

Love to see the sheath for this blade, too.

Okay, I think wood is pretty, but my preference is for synthetic handles. When I look at that I have a whole new appreciation for wood. You did an amazing job and that wood is absolutely fantastic! I'll have to check out those blanks, too. They look really nice.

Well if you like synthetics then you might like to know that the birds eye maple I used is stabilized with polymer/acrylics. This makes it preform just like synthetic but retaining the beauty of the wood. Buffs up nice and shiny too:D

That's the way to go. ;)

Skogkniv,

Thanks for the info. I have just started learning about that when researching the Spyderco Bushcraft. I have a new respect for wood, even though I've always liked the way they look, especially burl woods. I bought the Bushcraft and absolutely love the handle, but the spalted maple on mine is nothing in comparison with what you've done with that birds eye maple.

Are you selling knives, or just doing these for yourself?

I read the Spyderco bushcraft knife scales were not stabilized after all and so they discontinued the line. Apparently they had lots of cracks and handle pops.

I am not selling any knives, I just like making them for my personal collection and use.

Thanks for the compliments however, they are much appreciated:thumbup::)

You should seriously consider selling knives, or at the very least do handles for them. I saw your the other thread you linked and your work is top notch. I want to eventually get a F1 for a tough but easy to care for field knife, but I would prefer a different handle, although that Adventure Sworn blank looks great. You could do swift business with the quality you're putting out.

Id love to make blades, soon enough I hope. Space is my issue at the moment. I rent a Apt, so I have my whole shop set up two hours away at my mothers place in her garage hahahaha.

At the moment though I enjoy the project of just making them for personal use.
