Considering a couple of models for EDC. Game Warden or Boney AD. Owners please give me your thoughts. Thanks.

Both are awesome, I suggest going with a BAD now as they're available from BCS immediately. Wardens you'll need to find on the exchange and probably marked up a bit.

Snag one of the Blue/Black G-10 Boney ADs. You'll be glad you did. Instant gratification at its finest.

If a knife isn't on the in stock list, what is the typical lead time to order one? Also, how often do they add stuff to the in stock list? Thanks.

BCS basically makes a large order with Busse Combat and then sells what they get in. It's possible there won't be any more of a given combo once it's sold out. Stuff gets added pretty much as soon as it's arrives at BCS. If you want a combo that isn't in stock I'd try calling in and asking if they expect any more, and to keep your eyes open in case they add some.

I don't think you can order from the Company Store. I'm not sure on the details, but my general understanding is that Skunk receives shipments from the shop without knowing what they're sending in advance. He puts them up in the online store, and once they sell out, they're gone unless Jerry decides to send more -- the Company store is very much an "Hey, just what you see, pal." type of operation.

Thanks to all for the info. I'll keep my eyes open. I just looked through Gerberblade's BAD thread and made the decision... green linen for me! You guys made this easy!

I'd grab a GW. They're a great starter Busse. But---you can't go wrong. :)

The BAD is a simple buy since it's available for immediate shipping, it would be hard to go wrong with that one unless it's too big for you to EDC.

I like the skeleton warden for EDC since it's so thin and easy to pocket/neck/conceal carry.

either way you'll be VERY impressed with INFI.

I think the BAD is the perfect fixed-blade EDC. Best thing is, you can get one immediately. I picked up a green Micarta version and I really like it. I convexed and polished the bevel last night and will carry it on my belt this weekend, goose hunting. I expect to fillet out some goose breasts with it on Monday and Tuesday!

Stay sharp,

There's one for sale on the exchange right now. Not a bad price either
