Advice/ideas on tomahawk sheath

I need to sheath a 28"-hafted Equinox Coronado BUG Head.
Here's what I'm thinking for a sheath.
A belt design that has hole through the bottom, and an open end for the poll. The top strap buttons over the spine of the head, forward of the eye.

I have mine in a baldric...I favor a baldric for a large knife or hawk more then belt carry.
