Oh, thank You for those pictures. I am still torn apart as I don't want another short blade but not a slim one too 🤔
Thats other photo:

There are single blade sowbellies, if you don't want slim.
I don't have one.
This Lacroix fishtail might be my favorite metal-handled single blader.

As I have read the slim term is mostly about the handle not the blade shape or thickness nore widness. If it's so that wouldn't be a problem for me as I liked the Boker UT slim handle.
The blade is my concern. I am not a huge fan (now) of the narrow width (broad) shape (edge to swill) of medium workman stockman and mini trapper as it is as half of victorinox. I like broader blades.
SodBuster jr have broader blade but it is almost as short as Victorinox is.
The problem is that in Poland we don't have too many of trappers especially in good price as this one is...

In addition to the Sodbuster Jr (3 5/8" closed), Case also makes a non-junior, full-sized Sodbuster (4 5/8" closed) with a longer blade. Might that interest (and be available) to you?

It isn't unfortunatly. There are different patterns but only those are close to me.
You know, I am all the time towards the Trapper but I am afraid that a blade profile would be different than regular trapper and more narrow like texas toothpick. As the shop provide images they are as well put the photo of a sodbuster and called it trapper and the other way around 🤔
That is why I would love somebody just post a straight photo of a Zippo Single Blade Trapper next to a Soddie jr and/or victorinox.

My new knife arrived and it's how I wanted it to be except that it has a slight bladeplay. I decided to replace it.

When it will arrive I try to write some thought about as I didn't noticed any "reviews" of a Zippo Trapper other than some basic informations regard those knives and it would be a much help for me deciding to buy or not.
Keep your fingers crossed 😉

This one came today, no bladeplay like it was in the previous one which I replaced.
It's rock solid, beauty, curly maple wood handle. I like the size of it as it's shorter than Boker Urban Trapper but longer than mini trapper or stockman.
After sometime I will write more about it.
Question: should I use some oil on this wooden handle or leave it like this?

If it were mine, I might check to see if it looks like it's stabilized. If a small drop of water beads up and rolls off, that would suggest it could be stabilized, in which case it probably needles little else to protect it. If the water soaks in, then maybe just a minimal, thin coat of oil or wax might do. Also, over time, if the wood looks like it's picking up & holding dirt from handling & such, that suggests it's not stabilized or otherwise treated with varnish or polyurethane. Stabilized handles are otherwise very resistant to retaining dirt from handling. Assuming Case made this, I think they've been pretty consistent about stabilizing their wood handles, at least in the modern era (1980s or later in particular).

Maple is pretty stable anyway, so far as I know. Popular for cutting boards, butcher blocks & such, which are often treated with mineral oil ('cutting board oil') to protect them.

When I make a handle with stabilized wood I do use a few coats of Danish Oil on it even though it's been stabilized. Any oil product is likely to darken the wood a lil, so if you like the color how it is and you are worried about wear and tear, put a couple coats of Mother's Carnauba car wax on it. I've used other brands and always come back to Mother's.

This dyed and stabilized box elder (a cousin of maple), had two coats of Danish oil applied and then two coats of Mother's Carnauba car wax.

I am looking for a good picture of an Old Timer Senior 8OT on a wooden or grass background to make a wallpaper for my phone. Anyone has something like that? I already searched the threads and as every photo is great they doesnt seem to fit my screen 😢

if you don't photoshop, i am pretty sure that if you post a pic that you like, that someone could resize it to fit the phone for you.
