Advice Needed

Best Wishes and God Speed! I know you will be putting your all into the recovery and that is the hard part.

You have to get up and around quickly - who am I going to have to cover me at the Creek??? Them Hogs are nasty - so if you still need the brace use it!

Actually I hope it is nothning big and that you are up and around soon. Your little one needs you to chase her around (and I am talking about MOMMA HERE! ) :D  ;)

All the Best

I spoke to me VA doctor today...he highly recommends the allograph using an Achilles tendon....bone graft on one end and anchor it to the other. Even my civilian specialist is against the autograph.....using any of my own parts.

He says the achilles is the strongest the VA carries. I am doing it....so come Friday I might be out of the loop for a spell.....I expect some of you to buy any SHBM on my behalf should they come up for sale:D ;)

I was going to suggest that you find the absolute best civillian doctor, even if it isn't covered by your insurance, and wait until October. That way, I might be able to pry that Ruck away from you:D Seriously, I think your doing the right thing by going with the VA on Monday. I say this as someone who has @$1,600 dollars on a credit card from a "gap" in our insurance after our daughter's birth. The other @$5,500 is being "resubmitted" to the insurance company. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Whew! I feel relieved. Sometimes I worry about the boy.
