Hi,

I am trying to work our a deal on the following. All are NIB.

3.5" flipper standard XM-18
3" custom flipper spear hollowground XM-18
Large Sebenza (might swap for a Large Sebenza Classic 2000 model. Which is more desirable?)
Extra scale for an XM-18

Both Hinds are flippers

Also, if an XM-24 with CF scale flipper was thrown in, what would it add to the overall deal.

Can anyone tell me what a good deal on all the above would be in your opinion?

Thanks. Any input or advice appreciated.

:cool:

Also, are there counterfeit hinderers floating around?

This is one I am looking at and the pins and pivout screw looks a bit different from others I have seen

Posting photos of the Hinderers could help people distinguish whether the knives you are looking at purchasing are counterfeit or not. I have found that although most counterfeits usually do look true to their real counterparts, they are usually off on a few details.

Sorry didnt see the link

I'm no expert by any means but that knife on ebay is definitely not the same knife that the hinderer website shows, the jimping is all off.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you are supposed to direct link to an outside sale or auction. You may want to remove that. . .

Can you point out where the jimping is off? I have been studying the pics versus hinderer's site and cant see any difference.

Also, is it normal for the handle scale to hang over the frame a slight bit where the lock bar is?

Like this;
