Advice on my first GEC?

On a user knife you don’t want to get picky about scratches and dings. Otherwise you’ll be distracted or scared and never enjoy it. Use it and put your own marks on it, then it will have character.

If you're used to modern, mass produced knives, often with "stonewashed" or acid washed blades of what is usually very hard steel, then you need to temper your expectations a bit. No offense meant. And especially on opposite end single spring knives, minor blade rub is almost inevitable, merely from a little sideways pressure when you open the knife.

The 62 has quite thin blades, and it doesn't take much to rub them against each other when opening. I've learned to pull up on the blade, instead of just pushing in when opening. The amount of rub shown in your pics isn't bad, and like several have said, the more you use it the less they'll show.
