Hello Everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. As a new Dealer on this forum, I am hoping to get some opinions on what materials I should carry. I already offer some basic tool steels and refractory products but would like to expand. With that in mind, I would like to ask everyone to post what kind of materials they would like to see posted in the Knifemakers Supplies subforum.
Some of the products I can special order or start to stock:
M390, ELMAX, N680, W1, 440C, CPM Steels, etc.… I can find any type of metal but the simple carbon kind it seems.
Black Walnut, Apple, Cherry, Osage, and Pear are all species of wood that are carried locally at the mills in several close counties. I only deal in wood that grows in the Midwest to make sure I know where my scales originate.
My goal is to carry a variety of products that sell well so I can buy in large bulk and save everyone (including myself) some money while pursuing our craft. I only sell materials that I use myself and hold no exceptions. If I have not worked with it I will not sell it. Thank you again for taking the time to read this post. I look forward to your answers.
