I need advice. I posted a knife for sale last weekend and was contacted Yesterday by Fredjake1 saying he wanted the knife. I gave Him my Paypal information and He sent money via Paypal F&F.

He didn't leave His mailing address for where I need to send the knife. I have sent several PM's asking for mailing info and sent an email asking for mailing address using the email address linked to His Paypal account.

I haven't received any response on where to send the knife.

Should I go ahead and send the money back to Fredjake1 or wait a day or two to see if He contacts me.

Thanks!!!

I would wait. You got the money and the knife is no longer yours. Life may be happening to him. He'll come along soon to send you an address; at least I would think so, since he already paid you!

Perhaps he's out of town or somewhere without internet?
If you send his money back, You haven't done any wrong? Do what makes you feel the most comfortable!

His profile says that he was on today at about 10am est. Don't know what he did, but you'd think he'd address a PM regarding a knife he bought. Although maybe he was busy or someone else jumped on his computer which is why it shows activity.

Personally, I'd send it back and tell him to resend it Goods and Services if he wants to continue with the deal.

Me too.

I only sell via G&S and mention that in my sales threads, and I still get F&F payments ~10% of the time. I refund with a polite note, and send a PM/email with the same, and so far I've always received a new payment via G&S.

Did you ask for PP F&F or did he just send it that way? If you asked for it(which I don't recommend), just sit tight. He will figure it out sooner or latter and you have both the knife and money. If he didn't send the money as instructed, you certainly are within your rights to send it back, and I would, along with an explanation and if you want time to correct the situation.

Looks like you just say $$$ shipped which may be slightly ambiguous , but I feel defaults to G&S, since that is the proper method. If you feel the same-send it back and proceed how you choose afterward.
This will:
1 solve your present dilemma
And if he then sends it correctly
2 Properly pay PP their fees
3 maintain your seller protection
I would do it politely since he may have thought he was doing you a favor sending F&F. You also may be able to preserve the sale.
