Hello all,
I'm not sure if it's right to post in this sub-forums for such a question. Please let me know if I'm wrong and I'll try to move the thread accordingly.
I'm looking for a particular knife model, which is unfortunately discontinued for a while, so the secondary market is the only option. I've tried many ways to increase my chances of scoring one; including:
- Posting in want-to-buy sub-forum;
- Emailing the maker himself, with his answer being it's going to be low to zero chance for a re-released of the knife;
- Looking around on Arizona Custom Knives website, subscribe to the maker emailing list for notification;
- Looking around on Ebay; and
- Searching aimlessly on Google.
I understand the hunt for an elusive knife is quite rewarding, but it can sometimes be quite frustrating. Anyone have any pointers on where to look for; or what other actions to take in order to increase my chances within the secondary market? The knife I'm looking for is under my signature in case it's not allowed to post directly on the thread.
Thanks all!
