Hello knife people! This post probably is more suited for the "Kitchen Knives" subforum, but I feel "Fixed Blades" gets more traffic.

I finished this over the weekend and am very pleased with how it turned out. The blade is AEB-L Swedish stainless steel with heat treat done in house. I give AEB-L a pre-quench which refines the grain and gives me a shorter soak time during austenitizing. After "cryo" bath and triple tempers, hardness on this knife is 63HRC. The handle is walnut with amazing color and chatoyance. The surface of the wood looks 3-D in certain light. Overall the knife is extremely light, balance point is right between the plunge grind and the front pin, and the blade has a hand rubbed satin finish. There is some flex to the blade, but not much. The full flat grind was taken down to "zero", backed off just enough to reflect light, and then sharpened on resin bonded diamond stones. She be wicked sharp! I love the looks of a trailing point knife. They look cool and are quite versatile for game processing and kitchen duty.

Paypall preferred (samuraistuart@yahoo.com). All knives come with free shipping in the USA as well as a lifetime unconditional warranty. Something goes wrong, the knife gets repaired or replaced. I ask that the buyer be aware that most all of my knives are cutting tools and are made only for their intended use. I like to make thin, hard knives that excel at cutting and not necessarily able to take abuse. If you have any questions, feel free to DM me here or contact me by email (samuraistuart@yahoo.com).
