I've got a mid sized chef knife up for sale today. It is 0.1" AEB-L steel heat treated by Peter's to RC61. It is combined flat grind with the bottom convexed to aid in food release. The heel height is 1.75". The handle is beautiful Afzelia Burl with Indian Ebony bolsters. The liners, spacers and pins are copper. The balance point is at the the front pins.

Specs:
OAL: 11.5"
Blade: 6.5" long, 1.75" high at heel, flat/convex combination grind. Hand sanded to 600 grit. Sharpened to 17 DPS to 1500 grit on the KME system and stropped with green compound
Steel: 0.1" AEB-L, heat treated by Peter's to RC61
Handle: Stabilized Afzelia Burl, Indian Ebony bolsters, copper liners, spacers and pins.

Beautiful, and the handle is gorgeous (as usual). I've never seen copper used in the liners and spacers before.

Thanks! The Afzelia has a flame like appearance that I tried to capture with the photos. I really like copper, especially in the kitchen:D
