Hi guys, I have this chef knife blade blank that is made from .110 thick AEB-L.It is 13" long overall with a 8 1/4" cutting edge. 2 3/8" wide at the heel..It has been partialy ground with a 60 grit belt to set the bevels(down to about .030)..I dont have to time to finish it right now..
It has been heat treated with a sub zero quench.It was plate quenched and double two hour tempered.It should be about 61 rc..The pin holes are 1/8" but drill with a #30 bit so 1/8" pins will slide through easily but with no slop..
