Hello knife people! This weekend I have a simple little AEB-L paring/EDC knife to offer. This is my go to paring knife design. Steel is Bohler AEB-L, heat treat done in shop with "cryo" and triple tempers for a 63HRC. The blade has a full flat grind and tapers to a thin tip. The edge geometry is quite thin at 0.007" at the edge shoulders. The handle is walnut with SS pins, oiled with Watco Danish oil and sealed with a nice layer of wax. Sharpening was done on ceramic stones up to 5000JIS and then 1 micron diamond film. I love this steel. It is quite stainless and gets scuuuureaming sharp. I will include a plastic edge guard if you're interested in using it as a paring knife, or I can make a kydex sheath for an additional $20. This is quite a versatile knife, feels great with just about every grip style.
