As usual I fast tracked one from the batch for testing purposes, not that I have any reason to question Jarod’s heat treatment.
The Shranto prototype:
January 28: I am editing this post and closing the thread instead of making a new post, so that it doesn't come back to the top, as I have many orders on the books already. But I am not officially closing the books. If anyone does stumble across this post, and wants an OG EDChef or EDChef XL (like the pics in this thread, with the slightly more canted blade to handle angle) in .08" AEB-L, then definitely feel free to reach out. Or one of the tantos or wakizashis. I will have all these blades in the shop very soon, as I have just paid Jarod's invoice for the remaining blades from the run. There will be no deposits required on anything from this run, but also no guaranteed time frame.
The last remaining Shranto is claimed.
