AEB-L with homemade composite scales

This one was made for a Christmas present for the wife. She called it her pink camo knife. Used black micarta pins.

I thought so to Frank, I let her try it out and she said it felt great. One thing about it, I can always go back and take some more off.

Blade and profile look great! Handle material looks interesting as well. My .02 would be to take some time to shape the handle a bit more. You'd be surprised how much material one removes to make a super comfortable handle. If you look at this knife from the back you will see a pretty square profile. Make it more like an egg/oval and you should be good to go!

I make my own micarta as well. You will be very pleasantly surprised at how nice it will look with more shaping and finish sanding/ buffing.

That's a consensus, after Christmas I will profile the handle down some.

Really, finishing my own micarta is like opening a Christmas present. from an ugly block to beautiful.
