Aegis Owners

Mine is tight. Will develop some slight horizontal play over time that
can be tightened out on the pivot. Not a hard use prybar type of
knife. Has cut eveything I have needed and sharpens up easy
 
I consider my Aegis a hard user and I havn't developed any side to side, or up and down blade play. I can attest to the fact that the knife directly out of the box was a little sloppy. But with a simple tighten of the pivot screw, it locks up like a bank vault.
