Aegis problem?

Hi, for about a week now i've been trying my hand at google searching for this particular issue to no results so ill try to explain the best i can. I have as an EDC knife a Aegis plain blade. I use the blade quite often as in "im using the dammned thing the whole day" at my job. It has taken a lot crap from everywhere and has kept going for about a year but a week ago every time i open it it made a weird click just after i start to open the blade. Its a sharp click just when im opening it not closing. Blade still locks up good but wanted to know if it is something to be aware or concerned. thanks in advance.

If you know what you're doing you can take it apart and see whats going on inside. Otherwise you can send it to SOG if you want to keep the warranty but it will take longer to get it working right again.
 
A guy named cutlerylover on youtube has a little tutorial on SOG AO mechanisms. Might help you if you decide to do it yourself.
