This is Part 3 of my 9th Annual "Going to the Dogs" Sale.

Part 1, which gives all the background on this benefit sale, is here:

Part 2 is here:

And I listed some nice Bucks for sale here:

Some Nice Bucks (Benefitting the Pups) (Reductions!) | BladeForums.com

Please note that I’ve reduced prices on the remaining knives in Part 1 and Part 2, as well as on the remaining Bucks, so please take a look at those!

Everything is the same as in Part 1, including that 100% of the proceeds will go to the pups, but I’m offering up a new bunch of knives here in Part 3.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
7/6/21 Update: I've just listed a couple of nice Spydercos over in the Folding Knives (moderns) subforum: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/spyderco-endura-saber-chaparral-lw-benefitting-the-pups.1798160/
8/25/21 Update: It's a wrap! This sale is now officially over and the donations have been made. Part 9 has all the details here:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

For convenience sake, let me repeat the ground rules:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Details:
Prices include shipping, USPS 1st Class, w/ tracking. PayPal only. I'll cover the PayPal fees, so please list it as a sale of goods, not a gift.
1st unconditional "I'll take it", followed up with prompt payment. My PM/Conversations box tends to fill up quickly, so please e-mail me for payment info. at: aforsythe4 [at] austin [dot] rr [dot] com
Once we have a deal, please post an "I’ll take it" in this sales thread, since that’s required for us both to leave feedback, which I think is important.
By buying these knives you are stating that you are at least 18 years of age, and otherwise in compliance with all applicable laws regarding them.
International Sales Policies:
I like the international character of BF and so I’m usually willing to jump through the extra hoops to do international sales. But as this sale has grown in size and become a good deal more work, I’ve got to place some limits. So, apologies, but it’s U.S.A. only for this sale.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now without further ado, let’s get to the 3rd batch of knives!

Thanks for helping the pups!

Andrew

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This first knife was donated by my good friend and generous supporter from Arizona, whose knives are also featured in Part 2 and the Buck sale. He has asked to remain anonymous.
1) GEC #892121 Stainless Fruit Knife in Apples & Oranges Acrylic. 4” closed. The covers on this one are especially nice. My wife, who seldom pays any attention to my knives, was standing close by when I pulled this one out and said, “Wow, that’s pretty!”. Slim 420 HC stainless blade perfect for fruit and other kitchen duty. Pleasant easy pull & no half stop. Scored bolsters. Appears new & unused.
Includes tube, wax paper & pin. $99.00 SOLD
The next four knives are part of a donation (which also included a knife in the Buck sale) by my friend in North Carolina who was one of the earliest supporters of this sale and has continued his good deeds through the present. He’s a long time knife man and friend of the pups, and proud owner of a handsome rescue dog. He has asked to remain anonymous.
2) Northwoods Indian River Jack in Brown Jigged Bone. 3 5/8” closed. On the tangs: “Northwoods Gladstone, Mich USA” and “2014”. Has been sharpened and has significant blade scratching (which my pics don’t adequately show). Beautiful bone with red-ish highlights.
Some history from my donor: He bought this knife from KSF in 2014. It was manufactured by Queen and the blade steel is 154CM. He used and sharpened the knife but there was a problem with the backspring and eventually it snapped. He sent it back to KSF, who in turn sent it to Queen. They replaced the backspring (leaving the mark side pivot pin exposed) and sent it back to him. He got it just in time---right before Queen closed its doors.
If it were me, I’d probably mitigate the scratches by applying a satin finish (Scotchbrite pads work well), resharpen it, and have a classic knife at a bargain price.
No box. $65.00 SOLD
3) Camillus Boys Scouts of America Knife in Black Jigged (Bone? Delrin?). 3 5/8” closed. On tang: “Camillus New York U.S.A.”Blade has been sharpened and has fair amount of scratching. Tools are all functional and in good shape. My donor got this one in a trade which included a group of knives and he doesn’t know whether the covers are bone or delrin (and I can’t tell on this one) or what the blade steel is. His best guess is that it dates from the 1970s or 1980s.
No box. WITHDRAWN
4) Schrade Heritage Barlow in Deep Red Smooth Bone. 3 3/8” closed. Made in U.S.A. Stainless blades. Has been sharpened and there’s some light blade scratching. Very nice deep red smooth bone. "X"s on the tang denote a "second", but the only flaw I see is a small nick in the bone on the mark side by the rear pin.
No box. $33.00 SOLD
7) Ruike S11 Small Slipjoint in Black G10. Sandvik 12C27 stainless blade. A little guy at 2.7" closed and 1.0 oz., but with a very decently sized blade. Sharpened to a nice edge (I love 12C27 for its ease of sharpening and the fine edge it takes) and used almost none. Made in China.
Includes original packaging and paperwork. WITHDRAWN
