Might I suggest checking FLeabay for your knife, any specifics to your knife that would make it stand out, like scratches dinged handles, Etc. people monitor that cesspool pretty well on here and if your knife popped up maybe someone could help you get it back, It's a long shot , but stranger things have happened. Anybody who knows knives knows what that knife is , and If it's not lost somewhere or in some scumbags pocket, It will probably be for sale somewhere.

It's nice that benchmade offered you a discount since all they recieved was an empty envelope. Keep in mind the 30% is off msrp though. You'll likely find lower prices at bladehq if you go for another benchmade.

The spyderco military is very close to the AFCK.

A buddy of mine bought all the stock a certain knife dealer had of m390 benchmade afck's He's a dealer but hes also my friend, He MIGHT have one left , I'll give him a call If youd like. He bought something like the 30 they had left in stock. On another note that sucks man, Did benchmade say the package looked tampered with, or do they think it just fell out, or got damaged , either way that sucks...If you want me to make that call let me know, if I'm offline just send me an e-mail. Ok, replaced it with a 940. I just don't like the painted clip. Black anodized clip would be the best for me. Paint is just not cool for me. I am going to see if BM will swap me.

Maybe someday they will make the afck again and I'll get one then.

The 940 is a bit smaller but still a great knife. I agree about the painted clip and I've stripped the paint off of more than one.

I like it. I don't use chemicals, just a scotch brite pad on my die grinder and buff the paint off. That way the paint stays in the lettering and makes a nice contrast.
