Affixing a new handle?

Anyone ever tried installing a handle on a Buck 684 or 685?

I haven't but Hickory n steel has before. maybe he'll come by and post some pics of it for ya and tell ya about it.

Yeah, I rehandled the small 673.
I completely reshaped the tang on mine and don't have the pictures anymore of what it originally looks like or how I reshaped it ( I'll see if I can find the thread with the pictures)
Heres the finish knife though.


Here you can see the joint is off center because I inlet only one of the handle halves, it was much easier to do that way.
