Better depends on what I am doing. If I am in salt water the Mini Landslide is better as it is extremely corrosion resistant because it has N680 steel. It is one of those nitrogen steels. It is also slimmer and lighter than the Cold Steel and so it gets pocket time in my trunks or walking shorts.
The Cold Steel is a much, much stronger knife. Not many knives are in the same category, as far as folders go. It is heavier and much broader. It is also a better slicer. If I were going to use it hard, this would be my pick. If I were going camping or hiking, the Cold Steel gets the not, here too.
If I were in salt water, beach combing, swimming, etc. the Mini Landslide gets my vote.
Just decide on your most likely use and go with that one. I have both, if that means anything.
