AFO II or CLA?

i helped my brother move today and had my AFO in my pocket the whole time. No accidental deploy,net. I was moving large items and no problem at all.

I need to get more comfortable carrying with the safety off.
 
My AFO showed up yesterday. It doesn't have any play in the blade at all. It fires a lot harder than my CLA. The CLA feels really slow now. I really like the AFO. I did change the clip out to a split arrow clip because I liked the way it matches grooves in the side of the handle.
The plan is to carry the CLA when running around in shorts in my off time and the AFO at work.

I put the deep-carry clip on mine. I really like the way it fits in my pocket.
 
This is one of those posts that basically compels one to acquire a knife. Thanks Cypress but now I need this knife bad and can't buy one in California!

I fondled both at the factory and went with the AFO II. It's a much more stout knife, and offers better grip/locking mechanism/etc. I use it as my main rough-and-tumble folder, which means it gets routinely submerged in rivers, the ocean, blood from a myriad of animals, and all matter of earthen funk. Never once had an issue with a failure to lock, open, or unlock. Bonus: The glass breaker doubles as a fish brainer.

I have an original 9050 which is a beast, definitely a bit much for EDC for me and I'm a big guy. Phenomenal knife and I have never once regretted buying it. However I got hands on a CLA yesterday and it's been a while since I wanted a knife that bad. The size and proportions are just about perfect and it fits right into my hand. I ended up buying a Volli as they couldn't sell me the CLA, but I will have one sooner rather than later.
 
I have had my AFo for two weeks or so now. I love it! Carry it a lot more than I thought I would. I like the feel of the AFO in my hand. This knife is a beast!

Overall, it is one of my favorite knives. I carry it daily when I walk my dog. Even on my bike rides :)
