African Hunting Safari

I'd say if you're taking only one knife, take a SAR-4; if taking two knives, take a SAR-8 and either a BAD, a thin GW, or perhaps a SAR-3.
Cheers!

I do a lot of hunting and have been on safari in SA and TZ, and I've learned to take the smallest, thinnest, knife you can. The only thing that you will need it for would be skinning chores, and I assume you will have a PH with you that will do that stuff anyway. Unless you are in the congo or something leave the machetes and axes at home. If you are going the be walking a good bit, every ounce matters. When I've gone, though, there wasn't even that much walking...just some stalking after we spotted from the truck, but this will depend on the type of hunt you're doing.
