Certainly another classic.

The 7' tall monster poster was cool, A friend had it and it was printed with glow in the dark ink in the highlight areas of the image. I wouldn't mind having one now. The spud gun is back. My mother would never let us have that. I wonder what you would see if you looked at the sea monkeys with the X-ray Specs?

I remember the first add I think it was in the back of Boys Life magazine growing up in the late 80's. I ordered the 'Things you never knew existed' catalog and got it for years. I actually thought about it a year ago and was surprised it was still around and got a few copies of it but it wasn't the same.

I remember getting sea monkeys and I also got cigarette loads and stink bombs from somewhere. My Uncle wasn't real fond of those cigarette loads but he was the perfect person for them. He always had fireworks and is probably part of the reason for my obsession with them now. I will try to remember if I ordered any of the other 'treasure' but I don't remember much and we grew up pretty poor.

It looks like the owners have gotten older themselves because they are now based in Florida and the original ad says Detroit. I wonder if they have a store because where they are now isn't too far from me. Might have to look it up when I'm down that way.

I remember those ads from the early 50's. I had one or two items myself.

Does anyone remember the ad for selling "White Clover Brand Salve?" I think I must have made a whopping $3 or $4 selling that stuff.

Fun times.
