After 7 years, More things I get understood.. make the SAK with wooden handle again..

Knife is original 1.3713, I take off the plastic handle, Use the snake wood to make a new handle.. now it's done..

I think is much much better than 7 years ago...
 
That sure looks a whole lot better than the plastic. It seems warm and dare I say alive compared to the regular plastic scales.
 
Never cared for scales on a SAK. Always just took mine off because I find the exposed rivets aid in grip, well for me anyway. Gotta say though, those are some darn purdy SAKs ya got there!

No scale SAKs works just fine, as you say. Ive never had a problem using a SAK without scales if one was in the process of having factory scales removed and custom ones installed or if one simply yanked the factory scales and left it as is.
With a knife like that/that size/use, the scales are more and less a visual/cosmetic thing.
 
Beautiful work, and I'm glad you kept the toothpick and tweezers .
Btw have you ever thought of doing a nice gunstock checkering on them ?
