After a few months of being super busy, I've got a bit of time to work on blades...

Here's my first knife (failed) from a few months ago. I overheated the crap outta this blade with a shop vac after the hair drier i had wasn't strong enough. I still need to set up a blower with variable speed control.

and the spine is super warped to one side because I dropped it a few times on the ground. I need way better tongs.

here is a comparison: failed blade, esee 4, new project*I just started

ok so I still need (where to get them??):
1) more suitable blower w/ variable control
2) 55 gallon drum or similar large metal container that can be closed for making large amounts of charcoal
3) way better tongs. I hate rebar... it loves to crack just when you start to think you've made it into something!
