Thanks. I read up some reviews about the chinook 3, and it seemed like it was the crappiest version that nobody really cared for. And to be honest I think the look of it is just too watered down compared to the 1 and 2. If I happen to find one cheap (under $100) LNIB I might buy it just to make my chinook collection complete.

Lava_lamp - I'll definitely try out some other brands, I was looking at the strider PT CC dog paw, but it seems like a lot of the nice knives are always "SOLD" in all the dealer's listings.

I've really refined my collection recently by doing this. It's really helped me to discover exactly what I want in a knife. I'm down to just eight knives (not counting kitchen knives), and for the foreseeable future, I don't think I'm going to have any desire for any additions.

The Spyderco South Fork will be my next addition. But at least that probably won't be out till next year!
 
If you are willing to part with the Muk, I have a nice Pre-production Benchmade 690 I will trade you. Dont want to carry it because of the pre-production markings, but I will use a Muk!
