After Market sheath for the SoCom Elite ??(nt)

Patrick has really come out with a great sheath in his TAD S-1, very tough and secure. I carry a Swisstool in one and a large folder in another every day.

I've really liked using a Boker TopLock sheath for my "old" SOCOM. There's still some wiggle room, so I suspect the wider handle of the Elite will be fine.

These sheathes are only five bucks or so from Boker in Colorado.

Hope this helps,

-Bill

Is the TAD S-1 bulky? I am looking for a thin balistic nylon sheath for a large crkt m-16 and a large crkt KFF. Will these 5.3" closed knives fit in a TAD S-1? The Casper folder is pretty big.

Will a large crkt m-16 and a large crkt Kasper fighting knife folder fit in a TAS 1 sheath? The large Kasper is big.

Is the TAS 1 sheath bulky and thick? I am looking for a thin sheath.

My crkt knives are larger than 4.5" closed. The crkt folders I have are 5.3" The TAD-S1 accommodates smaller folders.
Anyone have other suggestions?

I just tried it on the CRKT Kasper so I know it will work. Benchmade makes a Sheath that can be worn horizon or vertically that fits the knife well. The only thing is that it has thier logo on it. You can see a picture of it on my web site under the Benchmade catagory. www.2thehilt.com
