I am weirdly happy and regretful at the same time.

I am with you on that. I don't need another DEK3 but I did have smidge of regret in not ordering it in MC. I don't have any blades in that steel so I've not had the opportunity to really explore its properties.

There are always opportunities though. Congrats to the lucky fella who was more decisive than I this go around.

I thought it looked a little off and might have been a DEK 1 cut like a DEK 3 but thought it was my eyes lol. Anyways tell Tanto that is one pretty bad ass looking knife! You should keep him around

Wait... was that a typo? I saw Nate's sneaky Tuesday sale for the MC DEK1, but was there an MC DEK3 that I missed?

Been curious about the DEK3 since folks began receiving them, and regret not getting one in the preorder.

I had to look at it again after Nathan's comment. Still looks enough like a DEK3 that I would still probably call it such but it certainly has differences in the grind. It really is a cool knife - I shouldn't have hesitated. My wife is happier though, so there is that.
