Aftermarket "Buck" blades

There is a guy selling blades that will fit a Buck 110 on ebay. They are damascus and are running $85 delivered. Won't post link since I don't want to break rules here.

Does this make good sense or is my cold getting the best of me? I love the dm blade I have but since Buck isn't offering any now and I haven't had any luck getting a BG42 blade for a project knife I'm looking at this as an option.

Now, if anyone has a lead on non-440 blades I'm all ears Not that 440 is bad, I just want something different for a custom build.

excuse me i have to wash my mouth out with soap...

now why would want to ?
note buck is not offering DM as there are quality issues with some of it that under hard use it can delamate...
most import supplers and some small usa makers have some issues like this...
if it is jest the damascuss... there that are knock offs that are cheeper
then 80$ for the whole knife...
