Aftermath vs CUDA Maxx Question

Is the material used to make the scales on the Aftermath thicker than what's used on the MAXX series?

They look thicker in pictures but I've never seen an Aftermath in person...

The Aftermath starts out at .150" while the Cuda Max is .125".
