I reported above that my Dad had ordered both the 2008 and 2009 models from the seconds page...both were sold out. He is ordering a 2009 from the regular page, I hope he gets one. Only a 1000 of each are being made.

Yup - I was overjoyed when I saw that they had seconds. Then I got the 'sold out' email, and my world came crashing down. That's okay, they show up occasionally, so I'll pick one up soon. I love those thick-bladed working knives.
