AG Russell Combat Dozier - Giant Warncliffe flipper

It's Dozier's tab lock, like a double liner lock with one holding the blade open in the usual location and one up on top acting as a stop pin.

edit: Pic of back of a Dozier showing the "stop pin" tab:

I can't take credit for the pic, only the reposting of it here. I found it here on bfc. Not sure who originally posted it.

Bob Dozier makes awesome knives, you will not be disappointed. Never owned one of his folders but his K4 fixed blade has served me well for 15 years. He does D2 very, very well. Buy and enjoy

the knife is a liner/tab lock just like in the picture G.Scott posted. even though framelocks are more popular, the liner lock feels secure and strong. dont let it dissuade you from trying the knife. it opens fine with the thumbstud. also another thing to mention is that the knife comes with two different style pocket clips. if you look at the pics on the AG russel page you can see that one of the knives has a regular pocket clip and the other has a deep carry pocket clip. so you will have both to choose from.
