AG Russell Gents Lockback ATS-34

Nightingale,
A.G.Russell, was the first knife company catalog I fell in love with, the first company I ordered from. I don't own the Gents Folder, but I'm sure it's a great knife. I also trust the company. What would you be looking to change on that knife? If that's what you're looking for how can you go wrong?

I am looking for something in the same size but a little more pedestrian. Leaning towards the A.G. Russell lockback with aluminum handles (small size) for dress slacks.

That gentelman's folder looks like a very nice piece though. Sounds like folks are happy with their quality, too.

I have a Gent's with a bone handle. It is well made. The only thing I don't like about it is the contrast between the brass liners and the nickel silver bolsters. Makes the knife look a little, well, cheap. Fit and finish are top notch though. I like the Mini Lockbacks better. The Al Mar Hawk is my favorite production gents pocket knife. They usually come with Ivory Micarta handle scales, but you can find them in pearl if you look hard enough, and they are beautiful.
