I just purchased this off of the Bay, not quite to my liking so I'm releasing it. The AG Russell Spire midlock is discontinued. It was offered back in the mid 2000s. Handles are mother of pearl, wharncliffe blade is VG-10 and about 2 and 3/8", overall length is about 3 and 3/16" closed. The knife was designed for AG Russell by Matt Conable from William Henry.
I tried to capture how one of the handles has started to open up. This is how I received the knife so I have no info as to how long it's been like that.
It's a great little gents knife. Lock up is excellent. Just not for me.
I paid $200. It was sold to me with a representation of having been unused. I've carried it for a few weeks, used it for light tasks such as envelopes.
Selling it for $150 in light of the issue with the handle.
Not interested in trades.
