So these guys are the only official dealers of Randall Knives and other fine fixed blades like Dozier... And this is what I got since the covid started, everytime I want to order something.
I did order some blades before there and was quite happy but now they have shut down their business to everyone.

That's disgusting and non-justifiable.

Shame.

Man, I'm really sorry that an international pandemic is preventing you from ordering a Randall. Definitely a time to recognize the true victims in all of this
 
Well not "everyone". People in the USA can still buy.

Seriously, this COVID 19 thing is news to you? Most freight carriers and mail services have placed huge restrictions on international shipping.

Not to mention and changes or new restrictions local countries have placed on incoming parcels.

Companies having all sorts of mailing issues, packages taking forever, getting lost, reduced staffing at business or skeleton crews depending on location.


I can't believe a venerable knife dealer, with decades and decades of great customer service can't get you a knife right now.....across international borders, which are closed for all non essential travel...

Never had an issue with other reputable US dealers in the last 12 months. Parcels take a bit longer but that's it.

Guess this thread will be a good filter to sort out who's wearing 2 masks and can't wait to wear a 3rd one eh

Those are other companies. They made the choice to still ship items out of the country despite the potential issues caused by the pandemic. AG Russell decided not do so. I can understand not wanting to take the hit for a $500 - 1,000+ item in the off chance that something happens when it could be more easily avoided by simply only shipping domestically.

I would recommend reaching out to them or a US member here to see if you can work something out, but blasting them for something that is not disgusting but understandable and totally justifiable because of world issues, may turn some people off in wanting to help you get an expensive luxury item when others are losing their livelihood and more.

So you never were able to place an order.

You were never charged for anything.

No money changed hands.

You were told upfront that they where not going ship outside of the US................But you feel its appropriate to come here and bitch about it because, how dare they change their terms and conditions during a global pandemic!:rolleyes:

OP - really? I would imagine most people would agree that you are being quite absurd here. Nor is that fair to the vendor.
 
I have to confess that I got a huge laugh out of you calling a company who may have implemented a policy due to factors entirely outside their control "disgusting". "HOW DARE THEY NOT SHIP ME A KNIFE!! DISGUSTING!"
