AG Russell's new knife to support veterans!

Very cool of him to do...shame I don't find the knife appealing at all. Rather just donate the $10 directly.

AG? Can we do this?

BTW, he was invited by a local group to help veterans in their area. Who cares where the vets are, they need us, since they defended all of us. Better to do something rather than nothing.

If the knives were made painstakingly by vets who were paid comparable wages (assuming you can find knifemakers that are vets in enough numbers to produce the knives), you realize you would be talking about knives that would cost 5 to 10 x more. There are other companies selling outrageously prices knives in this category, and, after covering huge overheads, and with much lower volume sales. probably make much less for their charities. This is AG Russell's business model. It's worked for decades, with high quality knives coming from it that people all over can afford. If it ain't broke....

I served four of my eight years in the service in Arkansas and met my wife there. Yes, I have a little more interest in these knives because of that but as you say I was in it for everyone not just the people of Arkansas. AG can't be making anything on these knives, except recouping his costs. The man has a heart!

Yet another nice design from A.G. Russell and for a VERY good cause. I don't understand, a true legend in this industry goes out of his way (once again) to help as many American servicemen and women as possible and his actions/the knife get criticized/nitpicked.

Great job Mr. & Mrs. Russell!
Thank You.

i wish there was a 'like' button on BF for this.

It gets a THUMBS UP from me!!!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

I like the knife and will be getting one, but please stop the stupid comments, my forhead hurts from all the "face palms":panda: (couldn't find a face-palm smiley, so a panda will have to do)

Thanks to A.G. and Goldie for doing this on behalf of vets. I never served, myself, but I have family who have (and currently are).

Going to let a buddy I served with, who is still serving (and currently deployed again) know. He should love it since he is from Arkansas.

I'll bet he sells a bunch of them this weekend. Great idea, and generously done. I know a few folks who could directly benefit from this.

Thanks, A. G. Wish I could make it to your "Knife Event" this weekend.
