This is an aged looking hunter made from a very old sawmill blade. Heat treated it like 1084. From our "investigations" most of these sawmill blades have speced out to be something like 1080+ 2% nickle or 8670 modified. I know its tough as can be..The blade has a 4 3/4" long cutting edge and is 1 3/16th" wide.. The overall knife length is 9 1/4"..
This one was made for a nastalgic buyer and meant to be "aged"..The curly maple has some scrap marks (old time gun makers scrapped curly maple, they didnt sand it) and is stained with aqua fortis and finsihed with boiled linseed oil. The sheath is hand sewn with sinew and was also aged a little.
We are asking $SOLD shipped for this knife. our paypal address is phllpwest@bellsouth.net We will also take a money order. Thanks and have a great day.

Love the vintage look ky, we see alot of the oldtime stuff around here in the hills we live in! That have been honed to toothpics and passed down for generations! HELL I SHOULD POP ON IT FOR THAT PRICE! SURE IT WONT LAST LONG

Thanks, its price pretty cheap because it was made for a buyer with particular taste. Now its got to find a new home and its not everyones favorite style.

Thats purdy alright, love the aged look.
That little bit of file work really is a nice touch too.
