Had my first transaction on the forum with Agent_H. To summarize...it was the best buying experience I've ever had. Period.
This man is a saint. I mean, here I was, slightly over the "noob" stage when it comes to axes , visiting from Europe and looking to buy some vintage US heads. I really wanted to make sure I get something of good quality, without navigating the perils of "the big selling website".
So, as a perfect stranger, I reach out to him and, 28 emails later (on the course of around 2 weeks...all due to my questions etc.), I have 4 excellent examples of old school craftsmanship. Did I mention they are all in good to very good shape, shipped from Oregon to Chicago in less than 48 hours via USPS flat rate (best time ever, really), and at a more than fair price? Only answering my questions so promptly, taking all those pictures, compiling historical information for each and every piece, should've justified him asking a premium. But no; instead, he passed me stuff hand-picked for himself at a more than fair price.
He's a great asset to the community and I warmly recommend anyone to deal with him. I, for one, look forward to any deal with him.
