veitsi_poika I thought as soon as I seen the title of this thread, " I hope whoever has that Barlow with the Barlow with a Barlow shield posts it" not only the cool shield, but the etch and the covers that's a great knife! I'd forgotten who'd posted before, then its in the first post all the others are very cool to. I only have one knife with a kinda fancy shield, my challenge harness jack, I'll get a pic up soon. Cool thread can't wait to see where it goes

That triple Barlow shield has got to be the coolest damn shield I've ever seen. I love it. As for my favorite.. I've always like the acorn. Simple and neat. That's the way I like 'em.

For pure looks, I've always been a fan of the acorn shield, and it works on a variety of patterns.
