Ahhhh...Autumn is in the air...

30-45 degrees is perfect for me.

My Marmot Pinnacle 15 degree bag is toasty warm at those temps.

I went camping last weekend in Kettle Moraine State Forest in SE Wisconsin. An awesome little backpacking trip. I want to get a bigger pack and do a more extended trip soon... My 40 Liter pack is starting to fill up quicker than it used to! It's because I can finally afford all the toys that I want to now...

Next weekend I am heading up to Door County, WI, my hometown, for a little kayak/camping adventure. I am going to kayak 2 miles from the Door County coastline straight through the choppy waters of Lake Michigan to uninhabited Chamber's Island to camp. Should be a good time...

What do you guys think of the eberlestock packs?

really nice packs but they are made of 1000 denier cordura which makes them heavy packs. If you looking for a light weight load out I would skip out on them, and get a backpacking backpack like gregory or osprey. The northface el lobo 65 is a really nice pack as well. ( i just sold one.)
