Aikuchi in 1075 and walnut

I agree with the above post; you have crazy knife photography skills. I imagine that's quite a plus for a knifemaker from a financial perspective.
But then I guess, it depends how much of your time it takes up.

Steve, this is true stick-tang construction. Block of wood, drilled and broached to fit the tang.

We should chat some time and I'll wax profound about my epoxy fetish problem... :D
 
Took a while to get the leather for this, but I've finally gotten the slip sheath done for this piece. Lined in deerskin, with a matching hammered and blackened menuki, and a black wrap to complement the handle, stained in the best dye I could manage to synchronize with the walnut handle. Off to it's new owner later this afternoon!

The knife and sheath are so classy and refined that I have a really hard time believing they were made by you.

But man, what an extraordinary piece....
