I've read almost all the posts I can about air hammer builds. I build machinery all the time so I don't really want to splurge on plans when I'm only missing one aspect and that is the air limit switch. I'm not sure how it relates to the height of the hit of the hammer.
The normal air hammer, not the new version with a spring, doesn't have a cushion of that spring. Does it cushion on it's own because it's air and doesn't retract the instant it hits the limit switch?
Any help would be appreciated.
